Fathers' Day Card

Next Sunday is Fathers' Day so you will probably be wanting to make your dad a card.

Here's a clever one for you to try.

 

You just trace around your hands on some coloured card and cut out the shapes.

 

Then make a zig-zag fold with a long rectangle of coloured card. You can make it as long as you like

depending on how much you want to show your dad that you love him.

 

On the front of the left hand shape

 write I LOVE YOU...  in big letters. You can use fancy letters if you can draw them. Colour them in or go over them with markers.

 

On the zig-zag folded strip write THIS MUCH!  Space the letters out so they fit evenly onto the strip.

 

On the other hand shape write your message to your dad....from Taya or with love from Taya...you know, whatever you want to say to him.

 

Then glue one end of the zig-zag piece to the inside of the left hand shape and the other end to the inside of the right hand shape.  Fold the zig-zag strip down tightly and flatten the two hands together, You might need to hold the hands together with a paper clip.

DONE.  EASY......and your dad will love it.
